The Ohio Health & Safety Course is designed for beauty professionals licensed in Ohio. This course covers a wide variety of topics to educate and refresh the professional. This course also includes some downloadable worksheets to assist you in implementing the education. These topics covered in this course include: Infectious diseases of hair, skin and nails, non-infectious diseases of hair, skin and nails, HIV, AIDS, blood borne pathogens, Hepatitis, infection control, sick policy, sanitation, glove removal procedure, client safety, client consultation, MSDS, banned products, expired and counterfeit products, client boundaries, client emergency, insurance, building safety, weather safety & emergency, OSHA, health department, state board, body mechanics, ergonomics and tools, potential dangers clients could be facing, domestic violence, sexual assault and sexual harassment and human trafficking. How does this work? It's simple! After you enroll, shortly after you will receive an email saying you are enrolled. In the enrollment email, you can follow the click here to begin link to get started on your course dashboard or you can download the app and utilize it from your phone or tablet. If you don't see the enrollment email shortly after we let you know you will be enrolled, be sure to check your junk or spam folder. You can complete this course at your own pace. You will want to complete your course through the thank you page. At that time, you will receive an email stating you have completed the course and so will we. Next, we will issue you your certificate within a few business days. Be sure to complete the steps on your profile to provide your license information so we can properly and timely issue you your certificate. Continuing Education Approved for:

Below is the list of CE Hour approval. As with all continuing education, it is understood that the wellness provider is responsible for verifying that information provided in courses is within the wellness provider’s state and/or local scope of practice as defined by law. In addition, course participants should be advised that additional training and education is required to be truly proficient in any topic. Once the course is complete, you will receive a Certificate of Completion.
